Tony McCarthy - Managing Director

Heading the team at Forté Foodservice Equipment is Tony McCarthy, Managing Director, with over 25 years experience in the Contract & Retail Foodservice industry, having lived and worked in Australia, UK, UAE, Oman, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, India and The Philippines.

An Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, Tony is also recognised as a leading authority in the foodservice industry specialising in Commercial Kitchen Design, Industrial Catering, Facilities Management and Food Safety Management Systems.

   
  Brent Carroll – Operations Manager
Brent has extensive experience in Remote Site & Industrial catering, having spent his early years in the Australian Defence Force including assignments in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining our company, Brent was responsible Food & Beverage operations in a number of high profile establishments in Brisbane, Queensland.

Well travelled, Brent has commissioned kitchens in Remote Eastern & Northern Australia, New Caledonia, Indonesia and The Middle East.

   
  Dean Taylor – Technical Manager
Having worked in the construction industry for over 20 years Dean’s work experience includes construction and refurbishment of hotels, restaurants & bars, schools, housing and remote site mining & labour camp accommodation and facilities projects.

Dean has worked all over Australia and in Thailand, Burma, Indonesia, New Caledonia and The Middle East. He has recently returned from Abu Dhabi where he was Site Manager in charge of the construction of a 3,500 square metre kitchen and 10,000 square metre dining facility on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi which is now operational and serves 60,000 meals per day.

   
  Chris Gorry – Group Marketing Manager
Chris has over 20 years Food & Beverage operational and marketing experience in 5 star hotels including postings in Australia, Canada, USA, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Singapore, China, Oman, UK, Turkey, Iraq, UAE, Egypt, Jordan & Lebanon. He has worked and consulted for some of the world’s leading hotel groups including; Hyatt, Sheraton, Hilton and Inter-Continental.
